City of Paso Robles Honored with CMPA Parking Program of the Year Award

We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the City of Paso Robles for being recognized as the California Mobility & Parking Association (CMPA) Parking Program of the Year!

This prestigious award celebrates the city's dedication to enhancing downtown accessibility and parking efficiency. The journey began with the adoption of the 2018 Paso Robles Parking Action Plan, developed in collaboration with Dixon Resources Unlimited. This comprehensive plan laid the foundation for a series of strategic initiatives aimed at addressing both current and future parking challenges.

Key milestones in this transformative journey include:

  • Employee Parking Permit Program: Launched in November 2018, this program provided downtown business owners and employees with affordable parking options, promoting the use of designated permit zones and ensuring prime parking spaces remained available for visitors.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Continuous data collection and analysis informed the city's approach, leading to the implementation of time-limited and paid parking solutions tailored to the unique needs of Paso Robles.

The collaborative efforts of city leaders, local businesses, and community members have been instrumental in the program's success. Notably, Donna King, Parking Program Manager, played a pivotal role in steering these initiatives.

This award is a testament to the city's commitment to creating a vibrant and accessible downtown area. We at Dixon Resources Unlimited are honored to have partnered with Paso Robles on this journey and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing innovative parking solutions.

Congratulations to the City of Paso Robles on this well-deserved recognition!
