On-Site with DIXON: Planning the Future of Parking in San Juan Capistrano

On April 15th, the DIXON team met with the Parking Operations and Management team to discuss the future of parking in San Juan Capistrano. Following this meeting, the DIXON team also met with the Customer Services and Police Services teams to review enforcement strategies, citation management, and permitting processes alongside City experts. DIXON and the City of San Juan Capistrano share a mutual goal: to make parking more efficient, more accessible, and ultimately enhance the quality of life for residents, employees, and visitors.

Accompanied by Thomas Toman, Director of Public Works and Community Services, the DIXON team visited the increasingly popular Los Rios District. There, they gathered valuable field data from downtown parking structures and City-owned parking lots, including pay station, mobile payment, valet, and employee parking locations. The team also reviewed parking signage and equipment throughout the area, gaining useful insights.

The DIXON team thanks the City of San Juan Capistrano for the warm welcome and is excited to support the City's next steps in improving parking across the community.
